Think Ahead Tuesdays: Wu Tang Art at Brixton East 1871

Uk hip hop fanatics will have rare chance to catch some timeless Wu Tang visuals this Saturday at a special exhibition opening in Brixton.

For one day only on March 5th, Brixton East 1871  will play host to a collection of iconic Wu portraits, never before seen in their entirety. All prints have been digitally restored by 90’s print champ, Danny Pope.  Their digital files will later be destroyed on March 9 – the day Biggie died – never to be retrieved again, making this a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Leading the tour is music photographer, Eddie Otchere: whose bustling portfolio includes snaps of Lil Louis, Black Star, Omar and Morcheeba. Included on the day is a production workshop, panel talk, live music and a Pure Vinyl Records stall, meaning there’s plenty more an offer than mere kodak moments.  And better still it’s free admission.
